With experience in laser processing and machine integration we are well placed to design and build laser cladding and hardening machines to meet your needs.

Meet The Team:
Managing Director: Dr Terry Lester
 
With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Surface Engineering, Terry has over 35 years experience of the engineering and corrosion control applications of thermal spraying and of designing and manufacturing thermal spraying equipment for surface engineering, He is a former Chairman of the UK Thermal Spraying and Surface Engineering Association and the UK representative on the relevant European and International standards committees.
Technical Director: Dr Sam Lester
 
With a degree in Materials Science and Engineering and an Engineering Doctorate in Materials Science, Sam has worked on laser cladding in the steel industry for 5 years, specialising in the process and materials development of laser cladding and laser hardening. In this time he has developed a strong understanding of the laser cladding process, especially in materials selection and parameter development for various applications.
Operations Director: Ben Lester
 
An expert in CAD design and CNC Programming, Ben's responsibilities include programming the robotic equipment, running the machines and co ordinating the workshop.
